Pleasant and vinegar and pepper flavored barbeque of the Pee Dee.($)
Guests can also enjoy live music from bluegrass band, Slug’s Revenge. The Florence-based group will weave a down-home atmosphere for folks to enjoy a day of the Palmetto State’s traditional food, music and folk culture. For variety, the Real Del Murphy Band will add rhythm and blues with a dash of funk to the festivities.
A children’s tent will be set up with a variety of fun fall activities and crafts. There also will be a number of accomplished traditional folk artists and craftsmen, including booths of metal art, paintings, woodcarvings, handmade jewelry, blacksmithing and much more lined up at the festival.
